David Alvey


The Syndication manager and founder of Atlantic Commercial Credit, David Alvey has over twenty-seven years of commercial lending and advisory experience.


Prior to the founding of Atlantic Commercial Credit in 1989, Mr. Alvey was a National Sales Manager for MedStar Leasing, a company owned by Memorial Missions & St. Josephs Hospitals in Asheville, NC. He focused on providing equipment financing and leases for healthcare capital equipment to individual practitioners as well as large hospital clients. Mr. Alvey has extensive knowledge of dental and veterinary practice mergers and acquisitions, practice operations, credit analytic, cash flows, and tax and accounting analysis.

Mr. Alvey’s engagement experience has been dedicated to financing healthcare providers primarily for medical, dental, and veterinary practices involving mergers, buy-ins, buy-outs, refinancing for growth, and multiple practice operations. His experience includes revenue and operational differences such as fee-for-service practices, PPOs, HMOs, DMOs, and Medicaid providers. In addition, Mr. Alvey has an extensive background in tax and financial reporting and transaction advisory.


Jennifer Munsey


Senior Underwriter with Atlantic Commercial for over 20 years.  Jennifer works with healthcare professionals nationally to assist with their financing needs.  She analyzes financial statements to underwrite transactions and obtain loan approvals on all types of practice and real estate financing requests.  Well versed in commercial loans for dental, veterinary and other healthcare providers, she is able to assist clients with practice acquisitions, multi-location operations, mergers, partnership buy-ins, refinance loans, equipment purchases, improvements and owner occupied commercial real estate loans.  Jennifer works personally with borrowers, practice brokers, and others involved in each transaction from the start of an application through to the closing.
